Can I use +20 scroll for items that have adv or astral +4's already? If not, why not? It defeats the purpose of having astral or adv if I can't use +20 scroll if I failed upgrading. I'm accumulating a lot of astrals in stock because I can't use them solely for this reason. Clarification? Please guide me, thank you!

+20 scroll makes any dg14 weapon instant +20(yes solely weapon you cant use it on a shield)

here are the special cases:
1- (but I already have a adv on the weapon) then your weapon will be +24 after scroll use
2- (but my weapon has astral) then your weapon will be +20, astral is only useful for when you fail an item and have to start alchemy from +0, as there are +20 scrolls available the astrals purpose is defeated when used on weapons, but bear in mind that for shields and set parts you dont have +20 scrolls and astrals can still be used for those kind of equipment.

So... If I use +20 scroll on a weapon +10, no Adv. Elixir... will it goes into +30..?

No, the scroll converts your dg14 weapon to +20,

They've just add +30 & +41 upgrade scroll, and decreasing their costs. Making game more interested and fun!
