Fullmetal alchemist is awesome.
Yu Yu Hakusho
Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin), a classic but a good one.
Inuyasha, basically where all super-power animes were based on.
D-Gray man
Code Geass (if you like gundam-type animes too).

anime like naruto haves an epic story
ppl may think its for childs well if you let that see to your childs your not good xD!
or attack on titan the gaints ( kind of ppl) eating the normal ppl and seeing allot of blood XD
so its not for childs
so if ppl wanna make fun of it idc leave them

There are a lot more just as awesome as Death Note, but they're not falling into Super Power category either. But I agree, everyone should at least try it out. If you're into that genre, you'll love it.
