If they would put as much time and effort into reporting/complaining stuff (which they will probably never get back), into playing the game & making money, they would have probably already earned enough to buy the item they lost... It's not that the scammed items are irreplaceable or super high +'ed.

Everyone should learn not to give their stuff to strangers. If you know someone really well and he's a verified member then you can (at your own risk) borrow something to/from him, i'm sure that that happens on a daily base. If you lose an item to a complete stranger, it only shows that you're not capable playing this game & shouldn't have valueable items in the first place.
