Make sure you have any and all bot type tools closed.
Only launch 1 instance of sro. Attempt to login with a character that's not bugged.
Then, press escape, and "restart" to log back in to silkroad.
Test with your bugged character and see if this helps at all.
If it doesn't, as others have said, Navmesh will have to manually set your character to a new start position back in a town. I've seen this before, so I wouldn't panic. Just be patient. If this is the case for your character, only Navmesh can do it, and it's behind the scenes, so to speak.
