Yes that's right socket stones are in the server. Socket stones can provide an advantage whether it's in pvp or in pve. Here is what a socket looks like on an item:
First thing is first, you gotta add the socket slot to the item first go to any goods NPC in the city and check the alchemy tab, you should find something that looks like this:
This is what you need to add a socket slot to an item so you can add the socket stone later. To do this you must have the item in the inventory and preform socket alchemy:
You can have up to 3 socket slots on the item
When you do the socket alchemy, the level of the socket stone is random. As far as I have found there is no sure way to get level 3 socket.
Now we get to the point. How to get the socket stone. Well if you look about how to get a socket stone in Alexandria south, you will see that you need certain items to obtain these socket stones:
As you can see you will need exay silk coins and SS CTF/Arena coins to acquire the items. Lets begin with the exay silk coin.
To get the exay silk coin you must first complete the questcalled Crab Soul from TK which can be found in newbie town at the daily quest for 125+
Once you obtain the quest you need to kill death karra which can be found in the river basin in Taklamakan:
Once you gather the require number of items (can take around an hour or so to do depending on how fast you hunt) go back and turn in the quest. You will get 5 exay silk coins for the reward:
Now for the most basic basic socket stone you will need 6 exay silk coins so this means you will need to do this quest twice. Once you get the exay silk coins you can return to Alexandria south and go here:
Now about the other items required for the socket stones: the SS CTF/Arena coins. I did a lot of asking around about where to get these items and someone told me they are only available in CTF or battle arena. I learned on the forums that CTF and Battle Arena have been disabled therefore there is currently know way to acquire the rest of the socket stones.
I hope this helps everyone. If there is anything I missed please let me know or pm me in game: IGN Kakushi
