academy importance? - skorpyo93 - 04-12-2015

Hi everyone

Allow me to start with mentioning that I am a former SRO player. The max I reached was around 54 I believe on Mercury server. At that time I really had a really op PC with single core overclocked at 1.7 GHz and half Gig ram and no money to buy bot not even the 5 USD a month lol. Provided this background of mine I definitely realize that I'm kinda n00b at this game and far behind the 1337s of this server.

Hopefully this allows me to ask very dumb questions. So moving on wards one the questions is ofc about the academy. As far as I researched the matter when you are an academy leader you gain some points from other players which you help . With that points you can buy some lucky buff and other apparently not important buffs . In addition to that you can buy SoSun d8 items from storage which is definitely useless yet after reading several pages of this forum I noticed that honor points and academy are a very important aspect of the game-play of this server given the rates of the server and the items that we have acess to upfront. There are also some people complaining about the current state of affairs and I quote bla bla bla people bot 24 7 at event area and I am a fair person and I'm behind yada ya da yada or I make 7 accounts to boost me or something .
Now given this conflicting ideas above what are the rewards for a successful academy leader or what its face to make it so valuable for one to strive to. Also if there is a guide about this I will definitely appreciate it along with a insightful reply to this topic.
Hope this isn't a double post.
I'm not English native so pardon my written English if flawed and also apologize if I come across as a pretentious prick.
