Zerk scrolls - catdog - 05-09-2014
Hi
Is it somehow possible to block the usage of zerk scrolls while fortress war? I've experiences some exorbitant misuse of them and that's not really fair in my opinion. I have 160 zerk scroll too but I wouldn't use them on such an event, even if everyone else does.
You already limited that ress buff, would be nice if you could do the same with zerk scrolls.

I can understand how this gets annoying...but I'm really on the fence about if it should be removed or not. I'm sure Navmesh will have pretty quick judgement.
I think a cooldown on zerk scrolls in FTW would be good, but I'm not sure how easy that would be to program.

If you dont use them, thats your problem. We farmed them hard to have them on ftw. So whats the point to block them at ftw ?
Ps: During a FTW, I use at max 10 to 20 zerk scroll

I use as many as it takes to destroy the heart.
I see his point, but it's going to be hard to nerf everything.
I mean, if we were to really play the game with no advantages over one another, we'd all have the exact same armor, exact same weapon +, etc.
I think some hard limit would be a bit too difficult to program into the ftw sessions of the game, but.......we'll see i guess.

well not everybody bots 24-7 to get tha scrolls and in pvp always many ppl zerk and i heard in fw to that ppl only zerk a cool down would be cool cuz its now the same as when nav did the roc scrolls for the first time

We spent our time and our money to buy this zerk pot.
If you wanna cool down , you just have to buy some " Energy of life " at the pot NPC.
You will be very happy about that.

nahh even if i would have many scrolls i wont use them all the time it destroys the fun of pvp and fw
but thats my opinion

I know what you mean and i won't use all my scroll all at once either.
But in FTW, there isn't any pvp, we are all full buff, if you understand what I mean.

yes and then walking inside the fort and 1hit die 1 hit die 1 hit die somebody ress u bam die cuz they always zerk on u u dont have time for something to do especially for ftw
fw should be fun
and not only zerk zerk zerk die die die but again this is my opinion (zerk should be for uniques )
