That has nothing to do with stupidity. Some people are just a bit too naive and trustful. We all want higher + items and there are some nice people out there who actually believe in honesty and gentleness.

I disagree. If you are handing something over of value, get something back in equal value in return. This way if your deal goes bad, you have a way to recover from it.
And this completely boils down to being smart. Too naive = stupid. haha
