I'm having this issue too I try logging in with the silkroad.exe client, or even the sro_client.exe but every time I log onto the server and choose my character all I can see is the sky. I can talk to people, but only see sky.

That's a different issue from the OP. Lower your settings from the options or try to update your video card drivers.
